Eat Clean: Healthy Margherita Pizza

 Super Bowl is coming up and a popular food option is Pizza! Here is a healthier option to eating a pizza so you don't miss out on it!

Margherita Pizza:

Ingredients:
1 Pizza Crust
2 tsp. olive oil
1/2 cup basil leaves
1 small Roma tomato, thinly sliced
1/2 cup cubed fresh mozzarella cheese
1 tsp balsamic vingar
1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
Freshly ground pepper


 Heat oven to 400 degrees. Then lightly brush 1 tsp olive oil on the crust. Sprinkle mozzaerlla cheese and arrange the basil and tomato slices on top.

Next, whisk together 1 tsp olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Drizzle that over the pizza. Sprinkle the rest of the cheese and pepper to taste.

Bake for 10-12 minutes or until cheese is melted.


So yummy! And pretty simple to prepare!

  1. Looks really good.... Question though, how is Titan with eating your meals? My 7 year old is not too picky but there are things she won't eat. I was just curious if he eats the same or if you make him something seperate. Keep the recipes coming :)

    1. Usually he will eat what we eat. He is a big meat eater so he loves the chicken and salmon I make. Well as long as he can dip it in something! This meal I made a two pizzas, this one and a pepperoni one. So he ate the pepperoni one instead!

  4. hi looks yummy what kind of crust is it? I am so glad I found your blog I am a mom of 3 and a Big fitness/ health nut. My baby just turned 7months old I am trying to shed the baby tummy. I have thought about doing a fitness comp. but I am nervous that I wont be able to get ripped
