Week 5 Update.

Week 5 now? Time is flying. And before I know it I will be sailing on a cruise ship! SO excited!! 

As many of you know I started this as a 50 day fitness challenge in hopes to get in shape for my cruise. The first few weeks were hard but now I am slowly seeing my results and am loving it. Loving it so much that I want to continue past the 50 days!!

I am pretty much committing myself to doing a IFBB NPC Bikini Fintess Show! I am SO nervous to do it! The next one is March 31st and my coach really wants me to do it to get some experience. Then for the June show I can compete to really win it all once my wrist is completely healed. I think it will be a fun experience! I am excited but yet very nervous to walk on stage in a bikini in front of lots of people. AH! We will see how this goes! 

Anyways, I started training for it about 2 weeks ago when I switched my diet and exercise plan. My coach wants me to take weekly progress pictures in a swim suit verses the way I have been taking them. Which I am not usually one to post pictures in a swim suit but whatever I guess ha! 


Did I mention how hard it is to gain muscle in your legs?? I am dying! I feel like I work my legs SO hard but the results don't come as quick! I can feel a difference and I think you can see a slight difference.. right??  Hopefully ha! Dang leg muscle just GROW! :)


I am starting my arms this week, today actually. So this is like a day one picture for my arms. I was able to do back work outs last week with a wrist guard but I couldn't even curl a 2.5lb weight. It gets frustrating with injures but I know it needs time to heel so I am just trying to be as patient as I can. 

  
Look what my hubby got me for Valentines! It is a Polar Watch that keeps track of calories and heart rate. I love it! These are my calories from my morning cardio and my legs at night. 
So I think I have one or two more updates before the cruise, then I will keep posting them for my shows! :)

  4. If you need a competition suit look up SundaeLu Bikini Ltd. On face book. She hand makes them all and customizes to what you want. She even competes herself. She is amazing!

  6. I think your progress is amazing! Im the opposite with my legs though lol I can feel the muscle coming through but I get soo worried about bulking up from squats and lunges though. I would love to see what your actual workouts end up being. You have an ideal body. Long and lean :) I want to train hard to look like that.

  9. Your body is absolutely amazing! I have an 8 month old and I have been trying to lose my baby weight. I workout 3 days a week and count my calories like crazy. I have lost 39 lbs. but I'm still not at my goal weight. Any ideas?

    1. Wow that is awesome! My biggest tip for losing weight is cardio on an empty stomach in the mornings! Add that to your work outs along with your weight training and you should see results fast! Hope that helps!

  10. Damn girly!! I have been working out for 11 weeks now and I'm down 11 pounds. I'm a Mom of an almost 2 year old. Can I ask a personal question...have you had a boob job? Out of the 11 pounds I lost I swear 8 of them must be in my chest ;) I'm petite as well, 5'2". My hubby just brought me home a polar watch the past weekend!! I am obsessed with it. I must not be pushing as hard as you though! I run 3 miles and I do a 30 minute strength workout and I barely burn 400 cals! Any tips and secrets? What do you eat? Thanks in advance for any help!!

    1. Hello, Yes I did get a boob job. After having two kids I felt like I had nothing left and working out just made it even worse, so I finally got one and think it was one of the best decisions. It sounds like you are already working out great! I eat A LOT. I eat seven meals a day, so every two hours to maintain a high metabolism! Hope that helps!

  15. Hey, I ordered the same swim suit after I saw how cute it was! I got the coral blossom bottoms and they do not match the top....could you tell me what color your bottoms are! Thanks!
