NPC Update: Two Weeks Out!

Wow! I have been so busy lately it has been hard to keep up with the blog!

Tons has happened since I last left off. We took the kids on a Disney Cruise which was a total blast! (I will have a full blog post on that soon!) Then I had to go to Vegas for work for a week. Let me be the first to tell you, training for a show while out of town is hard (especially on a cruise). Vegas wasn't too bad because I turned my carry on suit case into a mini cooler and literally brought my food for the week with me! Working out during both of the trips wasn't too much of a challenge either. I enjoy working out, running in the mornings is me time & a huge stress reliever for my busy schedule. When I left for my cruise I told my trainer up front that there would be times I would cheat on my meal plans & I did. When there is Mickey Mouse Chocolate dipped Ice Cream, you don't say no. You eat it and run a little extra cardio ;)
This show has been a lot harder to train for then my last show and I can not really pin point why. The sugar/carb cravings are unreal some days. It takes all of my will power to say no!!

Here we are 2 weeks away from my show. Yes, I'm freaking out. I get SUPER nervous! But I am really proud of how far I have come! My quads are growing fast, which is awesome! Here are this weeks updates. Hopefully I can keep up with blogging throughout the next two weeks to keep you all updated. :)

Mad about Plaid.

I am a BIG fan of plaid. So whenever I find cute plaid piece I grab them. I love how casual this top is. Most days I just want to put on something comfy that is still stylish & this top is just that!

Pops of Color.

I love mixing colors together that you wouldn't normally mix. When you have the color cobalt in your outfit, the first color to pair it with wouldn't be yellow. But yet, I love this combo.

I love pretty much all parts of this outfit! The Top is from a cute little Boutique Located in my town called Ella Bloom. The lace detailing is absolutely gorgeous so I knew when I put the top on I wanted to dress up my outfit. I paired it with this fun yellow skirt (Don't hate me, because I bought this skirt like a year ago and can not remember where I purchased it from!! :( )! Then I threw in the cobalt. The shoes & clutch totally make the outfit POP!

Transistion from Winter to Spring.

Utah has been really warm lately, which is not normal. Usually February here is freezing with lots of snow, but this February there has been days where it has almost reached 70! & I'm not complaining one bit! I actually prefer warmer weather and some days I have no idea why I live where it is just so darn cold.

So we got a little taste of Spring which inspired this outfit. The Transition from Winter to Spring Outfit , where I wear a cardigan but not a full sleeve cardigan because it is starting to warm up. It was great for a few weeks but today it is snowing again, so I may have to put this cardigan away for another month or so and bust out the North Face Coat.

If you live somewhere warm you should get this darling cardigan. Or just save it for a month or so when it starts to warms up! I'm in love with it!

A Dress with some Converses.

Putting on a dress with some heels is fun and all,  BUT some days you just feel like putting on some converses. & this dress is perfect for them!

Februrary Cancer Cutie- Bella Meyer

I am so excited for today's post. I am teaming up with the lovely ladies over at PS I Adore You . PS I Adore you is a Daily Deal site that is on a mission to build awareness and support around childhood cancer. Each month they feature a 'Cancer Cutie', a child who has been diagnosed with cancer, then they donate a part of every sale to help them in their courageous fight.

On August 12, seven year old Bella Meyer was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) type B. Since her diagnosis Bella has undergone multiple blood and platelet transfusions, bone marrow biopsies, many surgical procedures and countless rounds of chemotherapy at UW American Family Children's Hospital in Madison, WI. As part of the "highest risk" class leukemia patients, she is just beginning her fight. In December the wonderful team of doctors gave Bella and the family the best news. She is in remission! Unfortunately, this does not lighten the load any for Bella as far as treatment goes. Because of her "high risk" status she will continue to undergo all procedures and chemotherapy as previously planned out for the next 2 1/2 years.  Bella and the family will continue to endure weekly trips from Rockford, IL to Madison, WI.
Bella is a fun loving second grader who is wise beyond her years. Her amazing strength and brave spirit keeps her mom, dad and brother Braxton moving forward every day. Bella is a true girly girl. She loves to sing, dance, swim, and play with her American Girl dolls. Bella enjoys doing puzzles, arts and crafts and making bracelets. She has recently started a little business of making and selling these bracelets in order to save up for more AG stuff. Bella cares so much for others and has made many friends going through similar experiences at UW Children's hospital. She is an inspiration to her family and all who know her!

PS I Adore you has darling items that I know you will love! Or if you choose there is a spot to just donate to this sweet little girl.

Join us in support and celebration of these brave kids and let’s make a difference together!

Little Misfits.

I came across Little Misfits and love the concept of their brand. I really love the 'Stay True' shirt Laikynn is wearing. I hope that no matter what Laikynn wants to do in life or who she wants to become she stays true to who she is. I don't want her to ever base any decisions in life off of another person's opinion.

Avarochelle Designs & Bohme Boutique!

This is my second post for Avarocelle Designs & I have posted several times for Bohme Boutique so you know we LOVE all their stunning items.

((This is how our shoots usually go... Laikynn gets distracted really easy. She heard an airplane, ha!)
