NPC Nationals- ROUND 2!

Since I started competing I have had a goal to get my Pro Card. In order to get your Pro Card you have to first place Top 3 at a National Qualifier (which I did so, when I placed 1st in March at the NPC Utah Show), after you do that you can enter a National Show. The show I did back in July was a National Show and this show was my second attempt at getting a Pro Card. Many girls compete in several National Shows before ever getting theirs so even though I have done 2, I'm not discouraged yet!

There were about 300 girls that competed in this show! We are all divided into 6 categories by our height. Since I am so tall I competed in the tallest category which was F. My main goal with this show was to come in with a lower Body Fat % and get a higher placing. Before I left for the Show I got  my body fat % tested and it came in at 11% (in July I was at 15.8%) so I was very excited about this!

The show was SUPER fun! It was so much less stressful than my first National Show because I knew the how everything would run. I just went out and had fun with it instead of totally stressing out over my placing! I ended up in second call out and in 10th place. Which at first I was a little bummed about, to work so hard to get that Pro Card and not get it can be disappointing. But then I realized how far I had come and that it was only a matter of time before I get my Pro Card!

I decided to switch coaches 3 weeks prior to competing.. This was a BIG deal because my new coach hadn't worked with me before and didn't know how my body would react to certain meal plans. The last few weeks leading up to a show are the most important. To say I was impressed with my new coaches, Taylor & Ryan, would be an understatement. I have never walked into a show more tight and on point than this show. They have so much experience in training competitors that they knew exactly what to do to get me where I needed to be! I am SO excited to work with them for my next show, which I had planned to be another National Show in June.... BUT it turns out I'm PREGNANT! So as much as I love shows, they will be put on hold for a bit while I enjoy getting a big old belly and adding a new little bundle of joy to our family! <3 So get ready for some fit pregnancy posts & getting in shape after baby posts!!

Pre-Workout

I have tried so many pre-workout products over the years and didn't find one that I really loved until I discovered Warrior Fuel! I first tried out their Banana Taffy BCAA and after falling in love with that I started trying out all their other products! & Every one of them is AMAZING!!

Twirling with my baby girl.

Since the day Laikynn was born I've always called her my baby girl. Lately she's been telling me she isn't a baby because baby can't talk and she can. Little did she know she will always be my baby girl and I hope she doesn't get too big to twirl around with her mama.
